“ It feels thoughtful and clean with an outdoorsy vibe. My family and kids really enjoyed our lunch here. The food tasted delicious and made from scratch. I went on a Friday during Lent and they had some fish options for us. The service was excellent! We will definitely be back to try their meat. lol ”
“ I’m not sure how I have missed out on this gem of a restaurant but so happy I know about it now. Excellent service, cool aesthetic, and holy smokes the food was FANTASTIC. Their menu is short and sweet, which is something I really value in restaurants. It makes me feel like the food is even more fresh compared to restaurants with just massive menus. I got the counselor burger and my husband got the eggs benny, BOTH SO GOOD. We can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend this place! ”

The burgers are especially delicious and memorable. BUT, the real surprise was the Key Lime Pie. It was actually superior to the pies we have had in Key West, FL. We started with the burnt end lettuce wraps. WOW!! Amazing flavor, perfectly seasoned and sauced. I had the wood fired half chicken. This entree came with mashed potatoes (some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten) and mixed veggies (green beans, brussel sprouts and carrots). The chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly. The veggies were delicious. My wife had the counselor burger with fries. YUM!! Try their homemade honey mustard sauce with the fries!! My wife ended with the coffee cheese cake, I hate coffee, so I wouldn't try it, my wife enjoyed it. I had the key lime pie, OMG!!! I've had key lime pie in the keys, this was the best key lime I've ever eaten. Bottom line, Campfire Grill has created an amazing menu, everything is seasoned and sauced to perfection. They have specials every night that I will definitely go back and try. Staff was amazing, our server Nickie was very informative with the menu, very observant of our needs, and very friendly. Trust me, you won't be disappointed giving Campfire Grill a try. ”
“ Everything that we ordered was delicious and also looked good. I got the shrimp and grits. My friend ordered the burger and they said it was very juicy. The clam chowder was also tasty and the bread roll was soft, fresh and tasty. The croissant were also delicious. We got 2 order to go ”

I saw a lot of burgers and such on the reviews, which is not what I was in the mood for, but they have many options including a delicious short rib with potatoes, salads, fish, and great specials and drinks! My husband did get a burger and he loved it. Service was excellent, food was even better. We’ll be back ! ”
“ We got the special ‘Shrimp Chowder’ to share as an appetizer. Wow, it was so delicious and hearty. The restaurant is very close to the Carl Sandburg home. Tawnee had the classic burger and I had the curry chicken salad sandwich each with the rosemary fries. The rosemary fries were okay but not our favorite. The Carolina Sweet and ranch sauces for the fries were great. We enjoyed our sandwiches, but I probably would go for a burger instead of the curry chicken. We would eat here again especially for the shrimp chowder. We had great service from Cathy. ”
